Upon submission the user is redirected to an output page that is continually refreshed until the analysis is completed. Results are available in three formats:
An RData file containing an object named "ids". This can be loaded into R for additional analysis.
A comma separated values (csv) file. Here, each row represents a sequence and each taxonomic assignment takes up four columns: names of the sequence, name of the taxonomic group, rank level, and confidence (%).
A plain text (txt) file where each line is the classification of the respective sequence in the format "Taxon name (rank level, confidence%); ...".
A nested pie chart of the classifications is also displayed. Each segment of the pie shows the relative abundance of a taxonomic group at a specific rank level, and radial lines separate where the rank levels are distinct. For example:
Results are available online for 48 hours from completion of the analysis, after which point they are removed permanently from the server.
